For more than one hundred and fifty
years, the Post Office has been serving the inhabitants of Buxton with
the collection of their letters from a variety of Letter Boxes placed
around the town.
Among them are these three types of Letter Box, each originating from
the reigns of Queen Victoria - Dale Road. King Edward VII - Market
Place. Queen Elizabeth II - Silverlands.
Although these are basically all the same shape, a close examination will show that there are many differences between them.
