Buxton Museum

Buxton Museum and Art Gallery, a building that once housed The Peak Hydropathic Establishment during the Victorian era, now packed with many local treasures of the town's history. The museum is the venue for many county and national exhibitions of art. A visit to its Sir William Boyd Dawkins room is like stepping into the past. Both he and J. W. Jackson are former curators of this exciting museum.
