 Entrance to the Town Hall - August 2007
 Market Place, Eagle Parade (1890) - August 2007  Market Place, top end of Terrace Road - August 2007  Town Hall Spire  Buxton's market place, held here at Higher Buxton every Tuesday and Saturday throughout the year. Each July, during Well's Dressing week, the market place plays host to a large and bustling funfair. The main road here also forms part of the route followed by the carnival at this time. The remains of the market cross, now just a column and base, can be found outside the Town Hall. |
