![]() Bakewell 13th Century Bridge Pictured here, is Bakewell's magnificent picturesque early thirteenth century bridge which spans the river Wye. This bridge marks the eastern entrance that carries the A619 into the Capital of the Peak District National Park, where during the early part of its history, it formed a much used Pack Horse way that led towards Sheffield and Chesterfield.
