After piloting several light freighters between numerous star systems in the Alpha Quadrant prior to joining the fleet Academy, he spent much of his early years of service, from 2377 within the Federation on a Galaxy class vessel NCC-71854, the USS Venture, within its security department. Quick to gain promotion, it wasn't long before he rose in the ranks to finally become the ship's XO before moving to his current assignment in 2382 on the USS Dark Matter.
2383 : Time has stood still for the USS Dark Matter after being trapped in an alternate universe; and although five years have passed in the Alpha Quadrant, the crew has not aged for more than a few months.
Personal Information :
His parents, Carl and Marita Persson are now retired and living in their home on the former Norwegian/Swedish border in the mountains. During their working lives, Marita occupied her time looking after the home along with her only child, Lars, while her husband spent most of his life on the Earth/Mars/Titan colony freight lines, only returning home every nine months on extended leave.
When Lars had finished his university studies, his father had persuaded him to gain some space travel experience with a freight company, since he had expressed a keen interest to join the Federation at some time in the not too distant future.
