Service Record :
Began his service with a private exploration company, working with their small fleet of ships in late 2374, where he was upgrading and improving their computer systems. In 2376 he joined Starfleet Academy to become a science officer. When Angus had finished his term at the Academy, he joined the USS Griffin as an Ensign in their science department in 2380. When this ship was decommissioned in 2382, he joined the USS Dark Matter.
2383 : Time has stood still for the USS Dark Matter after being trapped in an alternate universe; and although five years have passed in the Alpha Quadrant, the crew has not aged for more than a few months.

He is proud of his scottish heritage, although he speaks very little of his early life, with his colleagues. His parents, Archibald and Judith have both recently retired and are now living in their home at Callernish on the Isle of Lewis.

Ensign MacDuff can best be described as a man who is entirely dedicated to his work. He has never failed to gain excellence from those who tutored him at the Academy, where he achieved the highest marks from within his field of expertise. He has first class communicative skills, born constantly and reflected, within his duties as an officer since joining the USS Griffin.
He is a patient and dedicated man, one who I predict as having a good working future within Starfleet. He has my greatest admiration, and I would not hesitate to give my fullest recommendation for this young man, that would enable him to serve under any fleet captain or commander.
Hobbies :
Outside his normal duties, he prefers to explore the technical attributes offered by Holodeck simulations. While still as a very young boy on Earth, he enjoyed the art of angling, salmon and trout being his usual quarry. He occasionally permits himself to indulge this hobby with a Holo program, just to keep his hand in, so to speak.

He is usually a man who gets on very well with his fellow officers, and has formed an excellent relationship with a Klingon male who he befriended whilst still at the Academy.
