Exquisite architecture in sandstone built into the limestone that is the Nat West Bank in Tideswell. This building was erected during the Edwardian era in 1905 and stands in the centre of the village.

The market place, although now disused, still retains a feeling of having once been the centre of commerce in Tideswell. As with the rest of the village, it displays a fine and varied selection of old buildings to interest the visitor.

Parke Road

This steep lane gives access to Summer Cross, part of the Buxton and Sheffield Turnpike route that crosses Monk's Dale, close to the Nature Reserve and the Limestone Way that runs the length of the dale and beyond. These are about a mile and a quarter to the west of the village.
